This shows the first stage of the process, retrofitting the rebar structure to the existing concrete roof.

The completed concrete berm provides protection for the panels and a surface on which to mount the according shutters.

All rails are grounded using nickel-plated brass connectors soldered onto solid copper wire and bolted in place

All connections are made in weatherproof aluminium junction boxes. All grouding connections in junction boxes are made using nickel-plated brass lugs soldered onto solid copper wire and screwed in place

All wires are run within conduit which is encased in concrete whereever it is directly expoesed to the elements

All materials for the rail mounts are stainless and aluminium. Anti-galvanizing compound is used wherever dissimilar metals meet.
